Hi,
I just spoke with mom on the phone – was like she was next door. They all arrived safely and were at their hotel which is a nice one. They are getting some sleep before heading out later to visit the former prostitutes out in the country where they learn sewing skills and more about Christ. Their kids (if they have any) live separately and have good care. She said they all had empty seats beside them on the flight so it was more comfortable than could have been. Also Emirates was a very good airline – service and food etc. So they are “wiped” but all is well.

Based on their itinerary they have about 5 hours or so to sleep - thankful, I'm sure for any they got on the plane until they leave to visit Ashagram (Village of Hope) about 1 1/2 hours away.It's a wonderful trip into the "country" of India where Bombay Teen Challenge has a beautiful compound for young men and women to recover from drug and alcohol addiction as well as being trapped in sexual slavery.
Many of you gave through Mariners to help remodel a building so up to 100 girls could work and have a new way of life, supporting themselves with work that builds up self-esteem instead of destroying it.
